There is, but it's out of commission at the moment.

It's the webservice_bpel quickstart. It has an issue with the JBossWSAdapter (unrelated to External Webservice Consumption), so I had to take it out of circulation. I hope to have it back today.

The webservice_bpel quickstart is quite detailed, in that it illustrates quite a few ESB features (including External Webservice Consumption). I've create a JIRA issue for creating a quickstart dedicated to this feature (JBESB-626).
