Client SMTP to ESB

Hey,

I've been trying to hook up a service to the jBoss ESB. I'd like the service to be able to send an SMTP-message to a service listening on the ESB bus.

Is this direcly possible, or would I have to write a seperate 'gateway' that receives it, converts and forwards the message to the ESB bus ?

Here is one solution, for SMTP, you need to have the client send the message to an email server for holding purposes, then you write a POP3 poller in Java and then use the ServiceInvoker to call an ESB Service.

The custom_action quickstart demonstrates the ServiceInvoker:
