Multiple Modal Panel

Is it possible to open multiple modal panels at the same time?

In fact what I would like to do is be able to:

- Open a modal dialog which contains a form
- Click on a link of that modal dialog which opens a new modal dialog

Is this possible? If so is it possible to have them both accessible at the same time or does the second one need to be closed to access the first one.

If not with the modal panel how can I achieve this?

it is possible to open the second modal dialog from the first one. However, due to the nature of the modal dialog, when you open the second modal dialog it becomes active, but the first dialog as well as other content of the page become unavailable.
