do you have org/jboss/wsf/spi/invocation/BasicInvocationContext in your jbossws-spi.jar? -

tfennelly May 16, 2008 4:43 AM (in response to notifychandan)Hi Chandan.
It sounds as though JBossWS has changed between the 2.x and 3.x codebases, which is a real pity :-(
Please use jbossws-native-2.0.1.SP2 as this is what we're currently base-lining against. -

No. The jbossws-spi.jar file is not having the class. -

notifychandan May 19, 2008 3:30 AM (in response to notifychandan)Tom,
That version of jbossws doesnot have a "BasicInvocationContext" class in its jbossws-spi.jar file.
I donot understand what is wrong?
Because, the jbossesb samples have a webservice_producer etc.. samples which are supposed to run. When I try to run them, the same error re-surfaces. Dont know what is wrong ?
Thanks,
Chandan. -

tfennelly May 19, 2008 5:35 AM (in response to notifychandan)OK... are you mixing and matching jars from your installed JBossWS or are you doing a full patch of the installed JBossWS with jbossws-native-2.0.1.SP2?

notifychandan May 20, 2008 2:52 AM (in response to notifychandan)Hi Tom,
I have removed the previous version of 3.0.1 installed by me, and placed the 2.0.1 build jar files.
But, the class "BasicInvocationContext" is not available in the jbossws-spi.jar file.
Please tell me if what I am doing is wrong. All I am trying to achieve is:
"To expose an ESB Service (as in, <service ...> in jboss-esb.xml) as a contract (to get the contract details at http://localhost:8080/contract) using the SOAPProcessor tag (with a valid jbossws-endpoint property) in jboss-esb.xml."
Thanks -

fil78 May 22, 2008 6:38 AM (in response to notifychandan)Hi,
I have the same problem - I am using jboss 4.2.2 and there is no such class in jboss-spi.jar by default - I found it only in jbossws-native-2.0.0.GA. But when I tried to install it all my war archives failed to deploy... - What shall we do?
Thanks a lot. -

an employee from jboss suggested, using the jboss-esb-server4.3 doesnot have this problem.
hope it helps,
