Request processing in JBOSSESB - sequential/parallel?

Hello,

When the request comes to JBR Listener, it is passed to Action Class and processing starts. If multiple requests come at the same time to the same JBR listener, how is it handled?
Does ESB create multiple threads to handle simultaneous requests?
OR Does it process requests sequentially?

In this case, the threads are managed (and pooled) by JBossRemoting, so the ESB doesn't spin up any threads. Multiple requests can be received/processed concurrently.

So can we use maxThreads attribute here?
If no, where do we configure JBOSS Remoting to use multithreading approach?
I tried one example with JBR and without using maxThread attribute. My service takes some time to respond (15 s). In this case when simultaneous requests come, first request gets services and second times out. I want both to be serviced at the same time. How to achieve this?
