anders.andersen May 4, 2009 7:13 AM (in response to blep)Hi,
Is it possible to specify these property variables in a configuration file somewhere? (e.g. in jbossesb-properties.xml?) I'm asking because we have a lot of variables that needs to be inserted and defining them all (maybe 20 - 30 variables) as #JAVA_OPTS="$JAVA_OPTS -Dmy.variable=myName" does not seem right.
Kind regards,
Anders. -

anders.andersen May 11, 2009 4:55 AM (in response to blep)Hi,
We found a solution to our issue, and it is very simple :-) So, if anyone are interested, the solution is simply to deploy a *properties-serrice.xml file with the following:<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?> <!DOCTYPE server> <server> <mbean code="org.jboss.varia.property.SystemPropertiesService" name="my:type=Service,name=MySystemProperties"> <attribute name="Properties"> my.first.property=value1 my.other.property=value2 </attribute> </mbean> </server>
And you can access the properties from any jboss xml config file by using ${my.first.property} - a nice and clean solution :-)
Kind regards,
Anders.
