Upgrade Hibernate

Greetings:

Is upgrading hibernate as simple as replacing the jars in <jbossesb-home>/server/<server-name>/lib/*hibernate*.jar ? Are there other dependencies I need to be aware of? Also, fwiw, we are not using Maven.

I'm migrating several existing hibernate 'services' to the esb, but we've been developing with a much newer version than what's included with the esb (version 3.2.4.sp1).

Hi,

replacing the hibernate jars should work. Scoping you deployments might be an option if you run into any issues, for example if you have existing applications that might not work with the newer hibernate version.
