Routing to JbossESB service on another server

I want to set up a simple demo where I route a message from one JBoss ESB server to another JBossESB server on the network using JMS. I can see easily how to user static and content-based routing to route between services in the same JBossESB instance, by can I use these to route to other instances on the network. Or must I use JMSRouter to accomplish this?

Do you implement this like the "recipient_list" quickstart where each target is a locally defined service, but then each target service uses a Notifier to route to external JMS queue?

Should just be a matter of having the different server instances share the same registry database. Configuring this is explained in the docs.

Once they share the same registry db, you can use the message aware routing actions (wiretap etc), or implement a custom action that uses ServiceInvoker to invoke by the service by name.

Does anyone have a concrete example or step by step of how to set this up? I want to use StaticRouter to route to a service on another server via JMS. I've tried a few things to get them to use a shared registry, but still the calling ESB cannot locate the remote service.

One thing that is often missed is physical Vs local addresses used in the provider configs. For example, make sure to use physical addresses Vs "localhost".
