1. Re: webservices + registry + uddibrowser + access to registe
tcunning Apr 24, 2009 10:50 AM (in response to rtajada)Rober, have you taken a look at the webservice quickstarts? They show how to expose a webservice through the ESB.

is there any way to make a search of the registered webservices ? -
3. Re: webservices + registry + uddibrowser + access to registe
rtajada Apr 28, 2009 1:54 AM (in response to rtajada)ok, i see the samples.
i can register webservices and use them in the samples.
now i'm trying to make a modification of a sample. I want to register a google webservice and access it.
http://api.google.com/GoogleSearch.wsdl
It seems to be registered, and it deploys without errors. But i can't access to the esb to call this webservice.
the jboss-esb.xml is this:
<?xml version = "1.0" encoding = "UTF-8"?>
<jms-provider name="JBossMQ" connection-factory="ConnectionFactory">
<jms-bus busid="quickstartEsbChannel">
<jms-message-filter
dest-type="QUEUE"
dest-name="queue/quickstart_publish_as_webserviceGoogle_Request_esb"
selector="serviceName='HelloWorldPubServiceGoogle'"
/>
</jms-bus>
</jms-provider>
<jms-listener name="helloWorld"
busidref="quickstartEsbChannel"
maxThreads="1"
/>
<!--
-->
<!--
-->
<!--property name="wsdlTransform" value="/consumer1-wsdl-transform.xml" / -->
<!--
-->
<!-- -->
what i'm doing wrong? i want to expose the google webservice as a webService, so i'm looking the sample "publish_as_webservice".
Thanks in advance.

6. Re: webservices + registry + uddibrowser + access to registe
rtajada Apr 28, 2009 2:00 AM (in response to rtajada)well, i see in the preview but not in the final message.
I put an action in the XML to point the real google WS. I based this part in the "webservice_consumer1" sample. -
7. Re: webservices + registry + uddibrowser + access to registe
rtajada Apr 28, 2009 6:04 AM (in response to rtajada)i've finally expose the google webservice in the ESB following the "webservice_consumer1" sample. But i want to expose this service as a service. I don't want to expose the "webservice_consumer1" way.
I supose it's like in the "publish_as_webservice" sample. But i tryed and i don't know how to do.
Anyone knows where can i get a sample ?
Thank you very much.

I have the same issue. Do you find how to deploy your google web services in the ESB ?
Thanks -
9. Re: webservices + registry + uddibrowser + access to registe
rkapur123 May 5, 2009 10:29 AM (in response to rtajada)Hello Rober,
I have similar situation - Earlier you said you downloaded UDDIBrowser and its working? Its not working for me - I tried to connect to juddi deployed in Jboss its not making connection to it - or to any publicly available registries (could be because I am going through proxy). But since my registry is in localhost - it should work for local juddi.
But how did you register your external service in this juddi registry? Which sample did you consult ? or if you have one can you please post. I looked at publish_as_webservice and webservice_consume1 - but they don't talk how to register external webService (I have external services deployed in webMethods and want to register them in Jboss Juddi and access them)
Thanks a lot.

10. Re: webservices + registry + uddibrowser + access to registe
rtajada May 6, 2009 4:29 AM (in response to rtajada)hello again.
i'm back and i think i'm back with something very useful, at least for me it was very very useful.
it's a sample for register a webservice and make a proxy... all i need.
http://www.jboss.org/community/wiki/SOA-P43SimpleWebServiceProxy
In the soa-p 4.3 install there is a sample "helloworld_action" ... if you want to define actions for the webservice.
I hope this will help you. -

Concerning you problem to access jUDDI, I encountered the same one few weeks ago.
I post it on the forum :
