1. Re: JMS service endpoint issue
beve Oct 23, 2009 3:34 AM (in response to sagolsb)Hi Sagol,
* Endpoint: jms:127.0.0.1:1099#queue/quickstart_webservice_producer_esb
* Contract: http://127.0.0.1:8080/contract/contract.jsp?serviceCat=MyServiceCategory&serviceName=MyWSProducerService&protocol=jms
This does not seem to be quite right? It is fine if I deploy jbossesb 4.5 on jboss AS 4.2.3
Sorry, could you explain what does not seem right here?JbossESB 4.5 doesn't seem to be compatible with Jboss AS 5.1 ?
JBossESB 4.5 is not compatible with JBoss AS 5.1 but JBossESB 4.6 is thought. But perhaps that was only a typo on your part and you meant that 4.6 does not seem to be compatible with AS 5.1?
Please give me some more details and I'll try to look into this.
Thanks,
/Daniel -

sagolsb Oct 23, 2009 4:03 AM (in response to sagolsb)Hi Daniel,
Thanks for answering me. I'm working ESB4.6 with AS 5.1, perfectly fine except for the fact that the JMS service endpoint seems to be not right to me. Please correct me I'm wrong? Shouldn't the endpoint:
* Endpoint: jms:127.0.0.1:1099#queue/quickstart_webservice_producer_esb
look something like?:
* Endpoint: jms://127.0.0.1:1099/queue/quickstart_webservice_producer_esb
Regarding the compatibility, I said what you confirmed that ESB4.5 is not compatible with AS 5.1.

beve Oct 23, 2009 8:03 AM (in response to sagolsb)Hi Sagol,
as far as I can tell this was done as part of the for http://jira.jboss.org/jira/browse/JBESB-2502.
I'm note sure about the details around this work but I'll try to find out.
Can you tell me how you are using this and what trouble it is causing you?
Thanks,

4. Re: JMS service endpoint issue
sagolsb Oct 23, 2009 10:00 AM (in response to sagolsb)Hi Daniel,
Thanks again for your time.
Technically it is a non issue, it still works by updating the endpoint in the client. The only hick up is when the contract / service endpoints exposed from the ESB are shown to the service consumers/clients; but as I said it doesn't affect me technically, so not an issue.
Daniel, I have another issue that I posted here on the following link:
http://www.jboss.org/index.html?module=bb&op=viewtopic&p=4261845#4261845
I originally posted this to the JBossWS forum but realized that it is a JBossESB issue, could you please look into this?
Thanks you very much.
Regards,
Sagol
