Today I released JBoss Forums 1.0.0 GA version. There were many bugfixes mostly connected with views. Full changelog you can see in jira http://jira.jboss.com/jira/browse/JBFORUMS?report=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.project:changelog-panel
Thanks for one of community contributors, Luca Stancapiano, who not only helped debugging Forums but also provided Italian version of ResourceBundle that is is now bundled with the application. I hope this will encourage others to contribute to JBoss Forums.
What next? I already worked much on next version of Forums which is 1.0.1. In this version Forums gain new L&F and also many usability improvements as well as one more usecase called MyForums where each user can view a summary of watched topics and forums. New version is still under development but if you are interested don't hesitate to make a checkout from Forums' subversion repository of one of 1.0.1 branches which are available there.
So, I hope JBoss Forums 1.0.0 GA will be a valuable application for your portals and please inform me about any problems, ideas or potentioal contributions.
