configurating a very lightweight mail application

Hello,

I'm currently using James but would love a more integrated solution. I am writing an application that needs to simply be able to receive mail and filter for spam and then be handed to a custom mail handler created by me. Could anybody help me with the following areas:
- configuring such a lightweight collaboration server
- adding a simple mailet to the configuration
- adding a spam blocker filter to the configuration

I've seen entries on the wiki but all the examples seem like they involve much more functionality than is needed. Could anybody help? Thanks.

PS: I do give back... I am a developer for JBoss IDE (Freemarker-IDE)

Just install a basic SMTP server with the gui. Use the JMSMailListener as an example and create a mail listener with your functionality. Add it to the server/default/deploy/mail.ear/mail.sar/META-INF/jboss-service.xml using JMSMailListener as the example... That's pretty muc hit. Would love to have someone contribute a spam mail listener..
