    JEMS Installer 1.2.1.CR4 Released

    amit.bhayani

JEMS Installer team is happy to announce the release of JEMS Installer 1.2.1.CR4. The last release was 1.2.1.CR1 almost a year back and after that we tried our best to release 1.2.1.CR2 and 1.2.1.CR3 but it never went through.

      1.2.1.CR4 includes
      JBoss AS 4.2.2.GA
      JBoss Messaging 1.4.0.SP3
      JBoss Portal 2.6.3.GA

There are number of new features available in 1.2.1.CR4
      1) It gives you an option to install the JBoss Messaging with JBoss AS replacing the JBoss MQ out of the box
      2) You can also install the JBoss AS as just a Messaging Server (Stripped down version of JBoss AS to just support Messaging)
      3) The packs pannel is now structured as Tree for easy identification of related packs
      4) At the end of Installation it gives an option to create the .zip file of your installation such that Administrators can simply unzip it to other machine and can save effort of installing the AS on other machines

      Binary is available at https://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=22866&package_id=193295&release_id=572449

If you're using JBossMessaging aka JBM, make sure to replace the default jboss-remoting.jar with the patched Remoting 2.2.2.SP4 version.[1]. This is well described on the JBM documentation.[2]

(You don't have to follow any extra steps other than replacing the Remoting library)
