    Banking example text

    marklittle

The Banking example that ships with TS 4.2 refers to ArjunaTS in a few places (and arjunats-properties.xml). We'll catch those stragglers in future releases, but for now just translate to JBossTS (and jbossjts-properties.xml).

The current Banking example text misses out an important stage (at least when running TS in stand-alone). You MUST start the recovery manager prior to running any JTS related tests. This can be done by:

          java com.arjuna.ats.arjuna.recovery.RecoveryManager -test

It's relevant to the Running The Banking application with JTS step in the trail map.

Update: it's only relevant to the local JTS transactions. The remote JTS transactions example does mention it.

You will also need the jacorb.properties file when running the distributed transactions Bank.
