1. Re: java.sql.SQLException: Table not found in statement
moisesjboss Jun 24, 2006 12:57 AM (in response to moisesjboss)I found the problem. It was a configuration issue.
I had a <res-ref-name>jdbc/MSSQLDS</res-ref-name> element in ejb-jar.xml but I did not have the corresponding mapping in jboss.xml file. That caused jboss to map to the default hsqldb datasource. -

marklittle Jun 24, 2006 5:22 AM (in response to moisesjboss)BTW, we don't support JBossAS 4.0.4 yet. Only 4.0.3SP1.

4. Re: java.sql.SQLException: Table not found in statement
moisesjboss Jul 31, 2006 1:08 PM (in response to moisesjboss)In ejb-jar.xml I had the following:
<resource-ref>
<res-ref-name>jdbc/XAOracleDS</res-ref-name>
<res-type>javax.sql.DataSource</res-type>
<res-auth>Container</res-auth>
<res-sharing-scope>Shareable</res-sharing-scope>
</resource-ref>
In jboss.xml i forgot to map the res-ref-name to the datasource's JNDI name. After adding the following element in jboss.xml the problem went away:
<resource-ref>
<res-ref-name>jdbc/XAOracleDS</res-ref-name>
<jndi-name>java:/XAOracleDS</jndi-name>
</resource-ref>
XAOracleDS comes from my server/default/deploy/oracle-ds.xml file, jndi-name element <jndi-name>XAOracleDS</jndi-name> -
5. Re: java.sql.SQLException: Table not found in statement
tejas_pajai Aug 8, 2006 8:48 AM (in response to moisesjboss)Thanks for the help Moises. I had made a mistake somewhere else. I was using the same jndi name in two '*-ds.xml' files (hsqldb-ds.xml and oracle-ds.xml). JBoss was picking up the hsqldb-ds.xml file and throwing exception for the oracle-ds.xml. I removed the hsqldb-ds.xml and the problem was solved.
