How to use Jboss transactions in a stand alone application w

We are currently using JOTM and XAPOOL with spring+hibernate and like to use Jboss transactions instead, in a multi-threaded stand alone application.

Anybody has any ideas and suggestions please?

JBossTS has always been useable in a stand-alone manner. Just download it and follow the installation instructions.

Do we still have to use CORBA (jacORB or any other) for stand alone application too? I do not need any recovery. I am hoping that I should be able to use the UserTransaction and TransactionManager of arjuna core for distributed transactions and integrate with Spring and Hibernate.

Please point me in the right direction.

Recovery is irrespective of JacORB. You need JacORB for distributed transactions.
