Recovery-Feature

I want to test the recovery capabilities of a ResourceAdapter with corresponding XAResource. However, I didn't get my JBoss 4.0.4-GA installation (with EJB3) to enter the recovery cycle.

There is a wiki page http://wiki.jboss.org/wiki/Wiki.jsp?page=TransactionRecovery which describes the steps to be taken. However, I didn't found the org.jboss.tm.recovery package in my distribution.

Did I miss something?

Would JBossTS be a solution? However, the current version 4.2 needs JBossAS 4.0.3 ... could it be integrated with JBoss 4.0.4?

JBossTS is the solution. JBossAS 4.0.4 support is on our roadmap, but not available yet.

Does this mean that recovery is not available with JBossAS as it is (i.e. without JBossTS)?

That's correct. The default transaction manager in AS does not do any logging nor recovery.
