Ok, and if this scenario is so well documented as you say why this topic has (actually) 249 views (contrapposed to the 130,50, 38, 47 of the other topics)?
        Why is It so interesting?

I've no time to "run JBossTS stand-alone and using the JTS implementation for performing distributed transactions" and to "understand what is supposed to happen (and why)"?

Mark, I simply have an EJB (on WebLogic) who must group (under the same transaction) 3 method calls of an EJB running on another machine...I think I can't spend two days or more to achieve this result...after all I'm a developer and I want deal with business logic....
The same scenario using WLS-WLS or WLS-Websphere or viceversa works IMMEDIATELY....I think this is right (for a developer point of view)

        And last but not least...
"It may be easier to understand what is supposed to happen".....for you (otherwise I don't understand the 249 views plus the views of the similar topics)

        Greetings

Sorry you have no patience, but these are free support forums where we do our best to offer free advice in between assisting customers who pay for support (Oh, and obviously pushing the development of the product forward). If you can't be bothered to read the documentation that has been built up over the past 20 years then and take a few suggested steps for yourself then we can't really help you. If all else fails and you think there is a problem, then create a JIRA. I'm sure the team will get to it as soon as they can.

I've created a JIRA so you can vote on this if you don't think the current docs or examples are clear enough.

Could you just point me the direction what technologies I have to get to know and what should I look at when I would like to implement such transactions through JMS.

I would appreciate such hint and start a research myself.

Well if you use a JMS implementation that supports transactions, you should get this for free. Try using JBoss Messaging (1.3 GA or 1.4 CR2), for example.

No problem. Just try to remember that we do our best through the forums, but often the teams are pulled into different directions because of official support contracts. So best effort is all we can ever do in the forums.
