1. Re: JBoss XTS license question
jhalliday Jan 7, 2008 5:38 AM (in response to sebastians)What is the project? The licence will be an issue only if you ship something, not if it is for use within your organization.

2. Re: JBoss XTS license question
sebastians Jan 7, 2008 6:00 AM (in response to sebastians)It's fully commercial project for external client. Our software will be deployed onto clients' jboss server.
Client will have all rights to that software including source files. -
3. Re: JBoss XTS license question
sebastians Jan 7, 2008 10:55 AM (in response to sebastians)Additional hint to that question - we don't need to include XTS source codes in our project - only XTS binaries (jar files)

4. Re: JBoss XTS license question
sebastians Jan 9, 2008 4:13 AM (in response to sebastians)As stated in GPL FAQ
(http://www.gnu.org/licenses/gpl-faq.html)
we can't use in our non-GPL project JBoss XTS libraries.
This is even true in the case of dynamically linking to XTS jars, without rebistributing XTS source codes.
So is there some price list for JBoss XTS commercial distribution ? -

No, OEM deals for XTS are individually negotiated.
