JBossTS/MQSeries compatibility without a JEE App Server

I'm trying to get MQSeries in bindings mode to participate in a transaction with a typical JDBC/Hibernate connection to DB2 without a JEE App Server (stand-alone).

I've spent a lot of time googling and reading the documentation for JBossTS 4.2.3. I've found Hibernate stand-alone examples, but nothing that deals with messaging.

Can JBossTS manage MQSeries XA transactions? If so, are there any resources available to get me started?

You will need something that is responsible for enrolling the resources in the transaction. The app server does that for you conveniently. There is no direct support for that in JBossTS, except for JDBC. However, if you look at the JCA container, then that may be another option.
