Hi All,

I'm using JBoss 4.3.0 EAP and running the 'production' instance. I'm running the instance as it is out of the box without doing any configurations.

I noticed the following line gets echoed to the console:

18:32:00,031 INFO [TreeCache] No transaction manager lookup class has been defined. Transactions cannot be used

Does this mean transactions will not work?

Strangely that's not actually a transaction question, it's a tree cache question. You may need to go find some cache people and ask them instead.

Thanks for the reply. Yes, I tested a transaction and it works fine. So this is actually nothing to do with transactions I guess. But why such a misleading log message?
