Upgrading to 4.2.3. Should we change all local datasources t

Hello,
We are upgrading to 4.2.3 from 4.0.5.
We use JTA (local) with UserTransaction framework. I changed all participating datasources to XA from Local. But I also have few local datasources which doesn't participate in XA , what to do with them? If change them to XA too, would there be performance hit?

Shall I keep them Local only? What is the rationale?
Please advise.

Have you read the JBossTS documentation? Pay particular attention to the sections that cover what a transaction manager does, ACID properties, recovery, XA and JTA.
