rich:scrollableDataTable and pagination

I read the documentation for the scrollableDataTable and it suggested that I implement ScrollableTableDataModel. Does anyone have an example of how this should be done? It seems as if you have to override four methods, but once again I have not been able to locate any examples. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

We haven't example pagination with rich:scrollableDataTable. But have it with rich:dataTable. See: http://livedemo.exadel.com/richfaces-demo/richfaces/dataTable.jsf?tab=dataModel. It should help you.

I looked at the example. As my first question, will this work with the ScrollableDataTable or do I have to extend org.richfaces.model.ScrollableTableDataModel instead. Also, when I tried to extend ScrollableTableDataModel I was informed that I need to override loadData, getWrappedData, setWrappedData and getRowCount. I noticed for the example you provided, there is a DataProvider and CurrentPk. What in the example is necessary and what is not?

Unless there's been a big change that I havn't seen, you cannot use pagination with a rich:scrollableDataTable by default.

I believe if you search the forums I think I remember someone doing this by extending the scrollableDataTable. You might be able to just copy what they have done.

Hmmm I think on http://livedemo.exadel.com/richfaces-demo/richfaces/dataTable.jsf?tab=dataModel is an example what you have to extend...sorry, I fear I don't understand what you are missing...

I followed the link but on this link: http://jboss.org/file-access/default/members/jbossrichfaces/freezone/docs/devguide/en/html/scrollableDataTable.html is states that you have to implement org.richfaces.model.ScrollableTableDataModel. I am confused on which one I should follow. Also, I am confused about the DataProvider, Range, SequenceRange. Additionally, is the currentPK necessary.
