1. Re: jbpm4: How do I use variables in timer definitions
camunda Dec 18, 2009 3:04 AM (in response to ikronkvist)Hi Ivan.
You still shoud use the attribuet "dutedate", don't change it to duedatetime. Why did you do that actually?
See: http://docs.jboss.com/jbpm/v4/devguide/html_single/#timer
Cheers

kukeltje Dec 18, 2009 8:25 AM (in response to ikronkvist)In 4 you cannot use expressions in duedates (yet) like you can in 3. There is a jira issue for making it possible to use expressions in more places then currently is possible. -
3. Re: jbpm4: How do I use variables in timer definitions
ikronkvist Dec 18, 2009 9:47 AM (in response to camunda)I changed to duedate time since I want to specify a specific time rather than a time relative to the time I deploy the model. The attribute duedate in version 3 of the model was able to take an actual instance of a Date object and use it to create a timeout to fire at that date. The implementation in version 4 appears to be very different and teh closest I can get to the same behaviour appears to be by using duedatetime.

kukeltje Dec 18, 2009 12:18 PM (in response to ikronkvist)Timeframes etc are on the issues in Jira, so you can see in what release it will be (keep in mind that planning might change)
