yyq2009 Dec 17, 2009 8:38 PM (in response to ilya_shaikovsky)Hi,Ilya Shaikovsky, I just saw the seam filter in the web.xml, didn't see the filter of RF, I want to know if the seam filter has already contained the 'RF filter'. In my project, I hadn't use seam framework. In other words, I would like to see how RF to be configed in my project without seam framework.
Sorry for my limited english, I don't know whether you get me.
Looking forward to your reply.

This was a mistake, now corrected, please refresh instructions wiki page. You don't have to remove "RF filter".

yyq2009 Dec 17, 2009 10:40 PM (in response to nbelaevski)Thanks Nick, I found that RF3.3.3 does't support jsf2.0 built-in facelets right now, so I've decided to give up using it.
I would like to know how I can confirm the ajax request is completed in jsf 2.0 tag f:ajax, in other words, I want to get the same functionality as 'oncomplete' function in RF ajax components.
Thanks in advance.

yyq2009 Dec 18, 2009 8:17 PM (in response to nbelaevski)Nick, yes, you are right. I didn't use RF4.0 A1 because it is not convenient in my IDE. I found that only id is a valid attribute of tag--a4j:ajax, others were invalid in my IDE. Maybe there is something missing in RF4.0 A1.jar, I compared RF3.3.X with it, seems a4j.tld was missing and wasn't configured. Is the source code of RF4.0 A1 public? if so, how can I get it?

nbelaevski Dec 19, 2009 8:29 AM (in response to yyq2009)Daniel,
We'll provide HTML documentation for VDL in 4.0.A2 (https://jira.jboss.org/jira/browse/RF-8227), as for now this page can help: http://community.jboss.org/wiki/A4jCoreComponentsRequirements . BTW, what IDE are you using?

We had some set backs because of 3.3.3 release, various spec issues, and discussions with the JSF2 EG. We plan on starting the new year ( January ) with some more detailed planning and assessment for 4.0 A2. Rough estimate right now would put it at end of February, or early March.
We'll get more information out next month.
