5. Re: Function 'rich:component' not found
ilya_shaikovsky Dec 15, 2009 5:10 AM (in response to soft-master)only RichFaces 3.1.x branch is JSF 1.1 compatible.
in order to use 3.2.x - 3.3.x you have to use JSF 1.2

6. Re: Function 'rich:component' not found
soft-master Dec 15, 2009 6:20 PM (in response to ilya_shaikovsky)Thank you. But my websphere 7.0 doesn't support jsf 1.2 directly. If you have any clue on how to set it up i'll appreciate it.
Best regards

ilya_shaikovsky Dec 16, 2009 3:22 AM (in response to soft-master)switch back to 3.1.6 if have to work under JSF 1.1. And as the version didn't has #{rich:*} functions - use just old api for modal panel used there http://community.jboss.org/docs/DOC-11863

ariefz Dec 16, 2009 8:54 AM (in response to nbelaevski)Hi,
I'm having the same problem as well... but i didn't use it in jsp/facelet. I put it inside my java code similar like how the other value expression.
Are we allowed to use it programmatically? Or do we have to use it via its static java class i.e. RichFunction class.
My environment:
- RF.3.3.2-SR1
- SUN JSF 1.2 B11 (i think)
Thanks.

soft-master Dec 20, 2009 3:18 AM (in response to nbelaevski)Yeah, you're right.
Richfaces.showModalPanel('wait');
This is the javascript code that can be called.
