How do you populate the input?
Right now the input is being populated by the user manually. I do not want the user to enter the value. The input value should be assigned from other
component "#{holeHome.namefull}.
When the value should be assigned?
I want the value to be assigned as soon as the user can see the page or loads.
Please let me know if i am not clear.

boy18nj Dec 23, 2009 9:40 AM (in response to nbelaevski)Thanks Nick for reply.
If i do this-
Set
value="#{holeHome.namefull}"
for h:inputText.
When i will save- the value won't go inside this component "holeHome.instance.name" .
"<h:inputText id="name"
size="25"
maxlength="25"
value="#{holeHome.instance.name}">"Basically i want to copy value from value="#{holeHome.namefull}" to value="#{holeHome.instance.name}".

5. Re: How to assign value inside .xhtml?
nbelaevski Dec 23, 2009 4:21 PM (in response to boy18nj)I think assignment in .xhtml isn't possible, and the easiest way to do this is to assign value explicitly in bean. -
