Best way to link a stylesheet or images?

Hi,

I have got a little application with jsf without facelet-templating.

What is the best way to link to a stylesheet?

What I do not understand is when the stylesheet lies in a directory and I try to

link it from the sites in the same directory with

<link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="webshop.css" />

sometimes, belonging from the site I come from, the stylesheet works and sometimes it does not work.

I would be great if there was a way to put the stylesheet(s) in a directory under webcontent and link it from every site.

The same is with the images.

Can you tell me a good way?

<h:graphicImage value="/images/pic1.jpg" id="pic"/>

h:graphicImage tag considers application context path so you could declare just such relative path value.

The same for our loadStyle and loadScript tags for css and js definitions.
