1. Re: Rich Faces Tree working too slow
ilya_shaikovsky Jan 11, 2010 9:27 AM (in response to chancey)It should works much better in ajax mode. Using client mode the browser will works slowly because of too many dom elements produced. -
2. Re: Rich Faces Tree working too slow
chancey Jan 11, 2010 9:39 AM (in response to ilya_shaikovsky)It is really so. But each time I'm opening a folder (in ajax mode) and it has more then 1000 leaves i need to wait almost a minute while they are shown. And what is really bad, when i click any node (the big list is expanded at this moment), I also need to wait too long. It seems like it reloads all the list when I'm cliccking the node. -
3. Re: Rich Faces Tree working too slow
ilya_shaikovsky Jan 11, 2010 9:58 AM (in response to chancey)add ajaxChildActivationEncodeBehavior=none to limit tree updates on selection. But for expand you can't improve the performance except by using some additional filtering at aplication level in order not to show so many nodes.1 of 1 people found this helpful -
4. Re: Rich Faces Tree working too slow
fernandoh.gomes May 10, 2010 8:53 AM (in response to chancey)i too have same problem ...
i have 1900 nodes on root.
when I start the application all nodes in the root are expanding. Until then it is not very problematic, but when I try to expand one of us, it takes too long, even though only one sub node within it.
