InputNumberSpinner skinning

Hello,

Richfaces 3.3.2.SR1

i want to use a rich:inputNumberSpinner

This component is displayed with a gradient in the inputfield.

But it should be shown in plain white.

All the reading of the documentation has not helped.

What is the correct way to get the input field in plain white (with no gradient image)? Or is there no way?

What i have discoverd is this:

When we set additionalControlBackground and controlBackground to the same value (in the coressponding .properties file) than no gradient is shown at all.:-(

I have set the value in Session , but how to get this value in JSF ??

Is it possible in JSF or not ?

thanks for answering. Your answer has given us a very valuable hint.

Instead of .rich-spinner-input we had to set

.rich-spinner-input-container{

    background-color:white;

     background-image:none;

}

and it works.
