rafaelliu Dec 16, 2009 7:02 PM (in response to dsidelnikov)Using JBoss Portlet Bridge you can create Seam portlets and use it's page flow feature.
It's quite easy. To begin see this screencast http://www.jboss.org/portletbridge/media

dsidelnikov Dec 18, 2009 2:47 AM (in response to rafaelliu)Hi, Rafael.
Thank you for your reply. As far as I understand the examples, Seam page workflow works inside the portlet (and uses jBPM for flow implementation). But I need to navigate user from one portlet P1, placed on page A, to another portlet P2, placed on another page B.
Best regards,
Dmitri

pseudojboss Feb 4, 2010 11:40 AM (in response to dsidelnikov)Hi,
I have exactly the same question. I want to navigate from a portlet P1 (on page A) to portlet P2 (on page B).
The additionly question is, can the portlet P2 (on page B) react when I set a public-render-parameter in the portlet P1 (on page A).
I would be very happy if someone can help me. Thank you!!!

5. Re: Implement Portlet Workflow
theute Feb 5, 2010 2:52 AM (in response to pseudojboss)You don't navigate from portlets to portlets.
A same portlet can be on several pages, in fact you navigate from page to page by specifying the page URL.

6. Re: Implement Portlet Workflow
pseudojboss Feb 5, 2010 3:44 AM (in response to theute)OK, I navigate from page to page.
So I think I have to send a redirect in the portlet P1 (on page A) to the page B (where the portlet P2 is placed). But how can I achieve, that the portlet P2 will listen to the public-render-paremeter which is set by portlet P1? I is not realy working.
For a better understanding I describe a visual example:
I have a portalpage "customers". At this page the portlet "customerlist" is placed. When I click on one customer, I want to navigate to the portalpage "customer data" where for example portlet "addresses" is placed which is showing the adresses of the selected customer.

7. Re: Implement Portlet Workflow
pseudojboss Feb 18, 2010 9:31 AM (in response to pseudojboss)There is no specification in the Portlet 2.0 Spec. for the problem described in the last posts. I've found a solution in [1], but it is "an extension in OpenPortal Portlet Container 2.x. These features are also available in Web Space server and Liferay Portal Server, as OpenPortal Portlet Container 2.x is consumed by them."
Is there a similar extention in GateIn or how can I solve my problem?

pseudojboss Feb 18, 2010 9:35 AM (in response to pseudojboss)Nobody has an answer?
Can somebody at least say me, if there is a way to solve the described problem in gatein? Maybe I have to switch to another Portal (what i not realy want) where I have already the solution (see last post).
