Can you remove data from the backend store?

I would like to evict data to a JDBC store and after a certain amount of time remove the data from the store. Does Jboss Cache provide any means for removing data for a store?

Not at the moment but if you're interested in such feature why not create a JIRA for Infinispan? You could even contribute such feature . JBoss Cache is in maintenance mode and so there isn't any new development happening there.
