3. Re: how to know JBoss server started
peterj Feb 11, 2010 1:48 PM (in response to ed.larkin)You can get the "Started" message without the server actually being available. It can happen if there are binding errors or other failures in starting various services. -
4. Re: how to know JBoss server started
armahdi Feb 12, 2010 2:02 AM (in response to armahdi)What does the script do, I am pretty new to shell as well.. I know its a loop and checks in the server.log if it has the word Started or not. if run after the startup.ssh its going to loop till it gets Started and when it exits after echoing. But if i run this script in between a run it will be tru anyways.. hmmm.. it might solve my problem i guess let me see..
If i have interpretted the script wrongly pls do correct me.

5. Re: how to know JBoss server started
ed.larkin Feb 12, 2010 2:41 PM (in response to armahdi)I use it as part of a build script i created for an application, essentially I just want to see that the server started. Once the server is started I have it drop a file back to another server, once the the script on the other server see's the file it will continue with its own script.
