It was something so simple that I would have never thought about ;-).

The URL of your test page  is:

http://localhost:8080/JsfTutorial/pages/testpage.jsf

(you used "testPage.jsf" in index.jsp, but the underlying Tomcat is case sensitiv).

Anyway: why do you need all those JARs in WEB-INF\lib? If there is no need to use MyFaces, remove them all and use the JBoss included JSF implementation. This way, you will have much less trouble in the future

And last point: it seems you did not active JSF support in the Eclipse project:
