Is there a way to make menuGroup clickable?

As in topic. I need to have item in menu that both has subitems and and can be clicked to invoke action. However <rich:menuGroup> isn't UICommand component and even doesn't have onclick event to enable it by a:support. So is there a way?

Seems no way out-of-the-box. You could try to find the groups by class selectors with jquery and add observer ononclick which will handle click by calling jsFunction for example.
