I am trying to understand why Jboss 4.2.3.GA does not require a re-deployment of WAR on the server when I change any Structs Action classes. But if I change any helper classes or non-action java classes on the web layer, I got to re-deploy the WAR on the JBoss server. BTW I use Eclipse as my IDE.
Wild guess: Strruts implements it own classloader, notices when its classes change, and reloads them. Seam does a similar thing.1 of 1 people found this helpful
