prabhat.jha Feb 22, 2010 2:50 PM (in response to kanikman)Have you followed this wiki: http://community.jboss.org/wiki/RichFaces333andJSF20? Please make sure that you are using richfaces-impl-jsf2.jar, not richfaces-impl.jar. The wiki also talks about what feature of JSF2 are supported with RF 3.3.3. -
2. Re: RichFaces 3.3.3.CR1 Released with JSF 2.0 Support - not works
jbalunas Feb 22, 2010 2:59 PM (in response to kanikman)RichFaces 4.0 will have its final release mid summer, but will have several milestone releases between now and then for you kickstart your development with.
As is pointed out in the wiki page the support in 3.3.3 release is intended to let your existing applications run in a JSF 2.0 environment, and begin the transition. New development with some of JSF 2.0 features is not fully supported with 3.3.3.
We are all working hard on 4.0 and will get the next release out asap.

5. Re: RichFaces 3.3.3.CR1 Released with JSF 2.0 Support - not works
kanikman Feb 22, 2010 3:38 PM (in response to prabhat.jha)So, when I create project wiht java ee 6 project wiht Netbeans (Eclipse does not have yet support for Java EE 6) PrettyFaces and Prime Faces works. When I configure like in http://community.jboss.org/wiki/RichFaces333andJSF20? application is starting without errors but any of jsf tags not works. It means it apears blank page. It looks like every jsf tags are not rendered. In this situation PrimeFaces and standard JSF components are not rendered on page.

prabhat.jha Feb 22, 2010 3:44 PM (in response to kanikman)I see. Which web container are you using for EE6? We tested CR1 release with tomcat6, AS5 and partly with AS6 M1. We have not tested with other containers. I hope that helps. -

kanikman Feb 22, 2010 4:06 PM (in response to prabhat.jha)I've tried it on Tomcat and GlassFish. Maybe I check it on AS . But I downoload demo for RF2 to look at code and I've seen that demo is based on Seam. Maybe on Seam it works and without Seams not works. this is my litte idea .
