1. Re: Can I use a newer version of TinyMCE?
hwoarang Feb 23, 2010 1:05 PM (in response to hwoarang)Btw, someone was able to use the tag configuration for rich:editor ??
I'm starting to think there's a bug because I (and others users) can't make our editorConfig.properties to be found...
Any hint will be more than appreciated!
Thank you.

juangon Feb 23, 2010 1:56 PM (in response to hwoarang)Yes, editor attribute works without any problem. In that attribute you have to set the absolute path for that properties file inside your classpath, for example:
"/com/example/richfaces/editor.properties"

3. Re: Can I use a newer version of TinyMCE?
hwoarang Feb 23, 2010 2:46 PM (in response to juangon)I'm almost giving up...
Juan, if you can, take a look in these images and tell me if you spot something wrong, please?
Even so, I'm getting the error:
Editor configuration properties file with name '/util/editor.properties' was not found in class path
Despite the wiki page http://community.jboss.org/wiki/richeditorcomponent shows that editor config file should be put in 'classpath folder' (?) and use only it's name as
<rich:editor theme="advanced" configuration="editorconfig">
I tried to put it almost everywhere and use it as "editor.properties", "/util/editor.properties", "util.editor.properties", "editor", etc...
Nothing...
Must I register/load the properties file somehow?
Thank you in advance.

nbelaevski Feb 23, 2010 3:50 PM (in response to hwoarang)Hi,
No need for special registration, can you please try the following: "util/editor.properties"?

6. Re: Can I use a newer version of TinyMCE?
juangon Feb 24, 2010 2:51 AM (in response to hwoarang)Hi Flavio,
Sorry, I wasn`t accurate before.
We have a managed bean to get that property.
The properties file is in the default package ( root package = / ) and its name is "Editor.properties"
The property has this value: "Editor".
You neither have to add the initial slash ("/") nor the extension (".properties").

7. Re: Can I use a newer version of TinyMCE?
hwoarang Mar 4, 2010 11:36 AM (in response to juangon)Hello Juan.
Sorry my delay.
I tried as you pointed and it works! Thank you!
I could suggest a little fix in the http://community.jboss.org/wiki/richeditorcomponent page.
Where we read "Create config property file and put to the classpath folder" should be something like "Create config property file and put to the root folder".
Now that config.properties can be used, the question on the topic can be renewed: can we update the version of TinyMCE?
Thank you all!

the update process isn's trivial so taking into consideration that we already built CR - 3.2.5 will be shipped with 3.3.3 final.
Next update will be in 4.x branch.

hwoarang Mar 5, 2010 12:40 PM (in response to ilya_shaikovsky)Thank you for the answer Ilya.
So there's no way to 'disable' the version bundled with RF and install/use a new one, right?
