1. Re: Browser shows empty space after rerendering a page with less content
tdevos09 Feb 23, 2010 11:57 AM (in response to tdevos09)In ddition to yesterday's post:
I was dealing the whole day with that problem. It is no special component that causes this problem.
If the page becomes to big in horizontal direction the IE 6 & 7 didn't rerender correctly in vertical direction anymore, if the content decreases. If I delete columns in the "rich:dataTable" everything works fine. But that is not a satisfying solution, because there are several pages affected.
Also if the browser resolution is minimized, this problem appears.
Did anyone here know a bugfix for that
or
otherwise a Javascript code to trigger "Ctrl-Key + Mouse Scrollwheel" via programm?
Thank you in advance.

nbelaevski Feb 23, 2010 5:03 PM (in response to tdevos09)Hi Thorsten,
Please check if triggering "hasLayout" helps for the problematic elements: http://www.satzansatz.de/cssd/onhavinglayout.html
Also check what's value of "compatMode": http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms533687(VS.85).aspx
