1. Re: SOAPProxy in ESB 4.7
dward Feb 18, 2010 11:27 AM (in response to jhenry)Jonathan,
Out of curiosity, does the http endpoint not show up in the contracts jsp application only after a server restart, or also on initial hot-deploy of the esb archive? Can you also please give me a run-down of your environment (jdk distro/version, jboss appserver version, os, etc, etc.)?
Thanks,
David (author of SOAPProxy)

2. Re: SOAPProxy in ESB 4.7
jhenry Feb 18, 2010 11:39 AM (in response to dward)It never shows up. I can send msgs to http://localhost:8080/sample/http/Stock/Quote and receive responses, but there is no wsdl. http://localhost:8080/sample/http/Stock/Quote?wsdl shows a blank page with a </definitions tag>.
My environment is:
Red Hat Enterprise 5.3
JBoss Enterprise Application Platform (EAP) 5.0
JBoss Enterprise SOA Platform (SOA-P) 5.0.0.ER
JBoss Enterprise Portal Platform (EPP) 4.3 CP02
jUDDI 3.0.1
OpenJDK 1.6.0.0-0.30.b09
Thanks,
Jonathan

4. Re: SOAPProxy in ESB 4.7
dward Feb 23, 2010 4:02 PM (in response to jhenry)Jonathan,
Using Sun JDK 1.6.0_17 on Fedora 11 (Linux 2.6.30.10-105.2.23.fc11.i686.PAE) and this WSDL:
http://209.162.186.60/stockquote.asmx?WSDL
The WSDL contract successfully showed up in the contract JSP application in all of the following cases:
JBoss.org ESB 4.7 (avail as binary download)
JBoss.org ESB 4.7 CP1 (avail as svn co+build; drives SOA-P 5)
JBoss.com SOA-P 5.0.0 Beta 2 (avail in Customer Support Portal)
JBoss.com SOA-P 5.0.0 CR2 (not avail publicly)
I don't know which 5.0.0 ER# you are referring to (there were several), so I did not test that.
The fact that you have access to SOA-P, you must be a customer with a support subscription? In that case:
- Can you please try with SOA-P 5.0.0 Beta 2 yourself? Or... drum-roll please... wait until later today and download the final release of 5.0.0, then try again?
- If you still have a problem, can you please open up a support ticket? That way they can help you in accordance with your SLA. The community forums don't have an SLA.
Thank you,
David

dward Feb 23, 2010 10:12 PM (in response to dward)Jonathan,
Please disregard SOA-P 5.0.0 Beta 2. As of this afternoon (2/23/2010 04:48 PM EDT), SOA-P 5.0.0.GA (final) is now available in the Customer Support Portal.
Thanks again,
David

jhenry Mar 22, 2010 10:51 AM (in response to dward)David, with SOA 5.0.0GA the contract is available, but only on hot deploy. On server restart they disappear.
