1. Re: How can i make my web service method to return an array of objects
ropalka Mar 17, 2010 5:38 AM (in response to erickjd)1 of 1 people found this helpfulYou cannot return array of java.lang.Objects, this is not supported.
You shouldn't have the problem with concrete types.

erickjd Mar 17, 2010 5:01 PM (in response to ropalka)Thank 'u Richard for your answer. I solved it.
I'm a PHP programmer and i've been getting involved into JAVA world (business reasons), specifically JBOSS, more specifically JBOSS-WS as part of the implementation of services in my workplace. So forgive my typically java type mistake.
I've been reading in forum about these and i have one question: is it wrong to use specific java type variables to be returned in the webservice methods ?,what happens if the service consumer is not a java client, and then do not recognize the variable type returned?. any advice??
Is there any advice related to which is the best version of JBoss-AS and JBossWS that i can use???????, the most stable??
my best regards
Erick
PD:sorry my english....

josephtau Aug 4, 2010 4:31 AM (in response to erickjd)You can still return objects but it must implement a Serializable interface.
