SmooksAction Validation

I have validation working great in a SmooksAction. I'm wondering how to get the Errors, Warnings, etc. into the message so I can use them in another action or, alternately, access the messages in the same smooks configuration in a freemarker template.

Does anyone use smooks validation in SmooksAction and could give me a hint or two?

You might want to give a small example of what you are doing and point to the place of the example where you want to change something and also what you want to do there.
