Is it possible to deploy a rar file in explored form?

Hi all,

I use JBoss 4.2.3.GA with the external JMS provider ActiveMQ 5.3.0.

I'd like to change the URL for the ActiveMQ server in the META-INF/ra.xml of the activemq-rar-5.3.0.rar from outside.

Therefore I'd like to deploy this rar file in explored form (included jar files and xml files) to have an easy access to the configuration file ra.xml.

Is there a possibility to do so?

When you tried it, what happened?

I found my mistake. First I explored the rar file to a directory named activemq-rar-5.3.0. Then I got some errors and the deployment failed.

The mistake was that I forgot the .rar extension of the directory name. When I name the directory activemq-rar-5.3.0.rar all works fine. So I have the possibility to change the URL in the ra.xml without creating a new deployment rar file.
