rich:pickList keyboard selection

Hi all,

I have problem with rich:pickList keyboard access. I want to access any item when I press the first letter of that item.

Probably it cant be done in pickList. But I need that feature. Is there any way to do this in pickList. Because reaching any item is very annoying when the size of the list get bigger.

only arrow keys supported out of the box. such improvements will be added while moving component to 4.x. Currently unfortunatelly seems there is no way except digging into component scripts and patching them.
