    Persistence without using Hibernate

    ryanlbart

Unfortunately, my company has a requirement that we are not allowed to use Hibernate (yes- it is very silly!). Any suggestions, tips, warnings, etc. on how hard it would be to replace the database access layer with stored procedures? I need the database to store process definitions, history, tasks, etc. If this is going to be a huge effort, can you recommed perhaps another similar open source tool which would be easier to use with stored procedures (i.e. Drools 5??)

      Thanks in advance!

      Ryan.
