I have running an jboss 5.1 AS on centOS(2 servers not running in cluster, on which is deployed an equal application). I use ntpdate to synchronize their time with the time of a third server.
Today i have saw some very strange problems and timing in the log. Nightmare :|
Here is a part of the log, i have deleted the output because it is not important. There is no errors and exceptions before the .......... and after that there is error telling that the transaction is not active, may be because the container thinks it has timed out. The transaction time out is 5 min. Second strange thing is that this is happening only on the one of the 2 servers. See the timing is unordered.
I saw the ntpddate log and there everything seems fine. It synchronize the time on every 5 minutes. Can this be hardware or server problem?
