JBoss Messaging Required Installation?

I've installed Jboss 5.1.0.

Do I have to install Jboss Messaging in order to setup the queue? I plan to configure the MDB so it could automatically pick up the message.

JBoss AS 5.1.0 includes JBoss Messaging, there is nothing further to install.

The file docs/examples/jms/example-destinations-service.xml provides example of how to declare destinations.

ok. That's good to hear.

But can you point out where I can go to get help setting up the queue and test a simple message? I would like to know how to configure MDB as well.

Can Jboss admin-console be used to setup queue?

The User's Guide should cover all of that:

The examples the User's Guide refers to do not come with JBoss AS - you will have to download JBoss Messaging separately to access the examples. And of course you can ignore chapter 4 on installation since AS 5.1.0 already contains Messaging.
