JBoss 6 on Red Hat Linux Enterprise

    longbeach

      Hi,

I've always used JBoss AS on some Windows environment. I now need to install and run it on Red Hat Linux Enterprise.

Is it just a matter of launching the run.sh file and setting the usual files (server.xml ...) with the appropriate parameters ?

Is there something else i should know ? Is there a tutorial out there for that installation ?

I'm not facing a particular problem right now, just trying to get ready.

      Thanks for helping.

Nothing different is required in terms of JBoss AS configurations. As you already know - just use the run.sh instead of run.bat. One other thing that might be important is the run.conf on *nix OS (instead of run.conf.bat on Windows), where you set the JAVA_OPTS and other similar stuff.
