Portal Personalization

How can portal personalization feature be implemented in GateIn?Like every user who logs in to the portal,can choose a certain skin type,can chose to retain the portlets they prefer in a page etc kind of personalization..so everytime they login they should be seeing their selected skin type & portlets?The Change Skin menu option wil change the skin type temporarily, but when the user logs in later, it will be set to default type.But I want the chosen type to be shown for specific user...Is this posible in GateIn?

The skin is now persisted and doesn't go back to default, this will be part of GateIn 3.1 (and also EPP 5.0)
