riffla Apr 28, 2010 2:52 AM (in response to peterj)Hi Peter
Thanks for quick answer. I did actually download JBoss Native (Deltapack version, does that one work ?) and will give it a shot now.
Guess the doc provided in the pack is adequate guidance for the job...

3. Re: Running JBoss AS (part of EAP 4.3) as windows service
peterj Apr 28, 2010 9:57 AM (in response to riffla)Deltapack? I don't see anything labelled that on the Native download page:
http://www.jboss.org/jbossweb/downloads/jboss-native-2-0-9.html
I was also trying to rmember exactly how I set mine it (it was about 2 years ago...). I know that I did not make us of the Apache Portable Runtime (APR) that comes with JBoss Native - I used only the files necessary for running as a service: jbosssvc.exe and service.bat. There should also be a README-service.txt that tell how to set it up. (Another option would be to grab those 3 files from JBoss AS 5.1.0.GA and place them in you EAP bin directory.)
